Biography
Jen Richardson-Greene's installations subject temporal elements to faint yet ceaseless erosion. Her site works employ telescopes to view objects in distant environments, while her documented objects examine surface evidence and history. She studied at the University of Minnesota, San Francisco Art Institute, and Mills College in Oakland CA where she received an MFA in Sculpture. Her work has been shown in numerous galleries and museums in San Francisco, New York, and Portland, including The Oregon Center for the Humanities at OSU in Corvallis, OR; Mark Woolley Gallery in Portland, OR; The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, NY; and The Fredrick Weisman Museum in St. Paul, MN. She was born near Rochester, MN and currently lives and works in Portland, OR.
